Daniel Rindress-Kay

Daniel Rindress-Kay

‘Peter’ Daniel is an actor, writer and producer living in Montreal. He first discovered his love of simply performing on stage at the age of 8, when he took classes with Pegasus Performing Arts. Dan would later go on to develop a deeper love of acting in particular, from classes at the Montreal School of Performing Arts.

During this time, Dan began to act professionally in Montreal-based film and television. From this, his curiosity and passion for the work done behind the lens grew, leading to a DEC in Media Studies at Dawson College and a BFA in Film Studies from Concordia University.  It was at Concordia that Dan met Jon Dubsky, another Montreal based actor/producer, and the two began collaborating together on short films.

Following life at school, Dan has kept busy by working as a producer and actor. Along with his production partner, Jon, he has spent the last 2 years creating the comedy web series ‘CUBED’, which is scheduled to go live in June 2012. Though time-consuming, it was a labor of love for Dan who co-wrote, co-produced, co-directed and co-starred in the series along with Jon.

Dan has also been busy working on various other projects, from brief appearances in Walter Salles’ beat-generation adaptation of ‘On The Road’ (2012) and Jonathan Levine’s zombie love story ‘Warm Bodies’ (2013), to a supporting role in the upcoming Lifetime television film ‘Fugitive at 17’ (2012).

Dan continues to work in the Montreal film industry, writing his first feature spec script. More importantly, however, he continues to find new ways of encouraging his cinephilia through this work.

Matthew Raudsepp

Matthew Raudsepp

‘Winston’

Matthew is an actor, musician, and writer living in Montreal. Since graduating the John Abbott College Professional Theatre program, where he received the Pamela Montgomery Award, Matthew has been seen on stages and screens (big and small) across the country (most notably in the role of Hyram in the Centaur Theatre/SideMart production of Haunted Hillbilly). Matthew also makes up one third of the online comedy trio Matt and Kyle and Matt, where he accounts for fifty percent of the Matts, but one hundred percent of the Estonians involved. Recently, Matthew has been touring Canada with his band, Honheehonhee, who were described by The Hour as fitting in “somewhere between Weezer’s knack for build-ups, Win Butler’s voice range and The Cars’ keyboard-buzzed and saccharine-filled melodies.” Their debut album, Shouts, was released November 2011. Always looking to grow and stretch himself, Matthew is currently drinking milk while suspended upside down from a chin-up bar in the hopes of adding an inch or two to his already impressive six foot frame. If that last sentence didn’t put wildly erotic images in your heads, ladies, his self-portrait oil paintings sure will.

Cara Reynolds

Cara Reynolds

‘Brianna’

If you don’t already know wannabe vegan and part-time human rights activist Cara Reynolds, that’s weird, because she’s a famous Hollywood celebrity movie star. When she’s not busy getting non-invasive, before-her-time cosmetic procedures done with best friend Katy Perry (Everybody does it!), or trading prescriptions with close pals [insert other equally young, trendy, rich, talentless names here], she enjoys petting cats, perfecting the art of pierogi making, and engaging other hobbies that will one day earn her a husband of sorts. (Fingers crossed!) In her time away from making too much money, attending highly exclusive parties, and getting her photo taken, like, 24/7, she also enjoys healing and educating the world at large on the topics of self-love and self-care in hopes of saving us all from a dismal, fiery end. P.S. You’re welcome.

Simon Petry

Simon Petry

This all began for me as a teenager. Growing up I was a bit of nerd, and I would spend my weekends looking up Photoshop tutorials and teaching myself the ropes. And in high school, I took a computer class that involved learning HTML. At the time it blew my mind: What I did in the code editor, showed up immediately on the screen. I realized soon after I could mix both my interest in Photoshop and my interest for coding.

After graduating from high-school, I jumped into a technical design program where I was formally taught design and the use of Adobe Creative Suite: Photohop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash. From there I pursued a University degree in a program called Computation Arts—a program dedicated to conceptually realizing computer-related projects. Check out my site: SimonPetry.com

Other recording credits include music videos and web content in collaboration with ACTRA.

Fresh back from a six-month stay in Argentina recording ambient sounds with his trusty pocket-recorder,Kyel’s return to Montreal means a return to sound design and storytelling.   A fan of old-timey radio serials, he is currently writing and prepping a short format comedy/drama podcast to launch sometime in 2013!

Kyel thinks Dan Kay, Jon Dubsky and Matt Raudsepp are some pretty hilarious guys, and is proud to work alongside this great Montreal talent.  He hopes you enjoy seeing Peter, Richard and Winston fail and flail in CUB3D!
